My obsession grows...

Almost daily, I hike this abandoned building attempting to learn more about its history and ghosts. This shot was taken near sunset which created warm, brilliant colors throughout the guts of the building.

FYI: Will more than likely add a larger resolution shot since so many have requested.

Note: There are man more shots of this building within my gallery.

Note: This is not stock photography.

the work of knolaust is filled with everything from inspiring and intersting quotes, meaningful photographs, beautiful and lovely macros, superbly slick and abstract architectural series to a series on abandoned buildings. Hall of Decay has caught my eye because it embodies a part of what i really like to see in photography - a moment saved. what i mean but that, is that this photograph gave new life to the building. it may have been old, but with this beautiful capture it has a new life as a picture, as a memory, and now as a photograph in your favourites. Nice textures and light, good contrasts and lines, I like the depth and perspective.

I like it. I'd be intresting (if at all possible) to have a simlar picture of the same hallway back when it was still intact and furnished. What would be even more instresting is with the aid of Photoshop, put like the "ghost" of a small child standing to the side. ^ ^

Wow, very cool. It almost looks like it could be looking down an elevator shaft or down a hallway. Which seems totally cool. Very nice work. Hmmm, its telling me stories now. :) (Smile)

Wow, thats absolutely amazing. The end of the hall looks like its glowing in flame or heat or something, very very awesome. The decay is fabulous, I'm a huge fan of natural decay and shots portraying it as well as this are not common at all.

Wonderful job. Absolutely amazing picture.
